Can I take my phone number with me?
It doesn’t matter if you have a subscription or a prepaid SIM, you can always take your phone number with you when you switch to yallo. To do so, simply state that you want to keep your current number when you sign up for your new contract. You don’t need to contact your current provider. We will contact them to cancel your subscription.
If you don’t sign up for your contract with us online, we’ll ask you to sign an authorization to allow number porting so that we can start the process.
From the date on which you sign up with Sunrise, it usually takes just four to eight days to confirm your number porting and the activation date. Your actual porting date depends primarily on whether you’re still under contract with your current provider. Number porting is free of charge for you. Please note, however, that you may incur additional costs from your current provider if you cancel before the end of the contract period.
If you wish to switch to yallo immediately, you can indicate this when you sign up for your contract. Even if you do incur fees for canceling with your current provider due to the notice period, it may well be worth it thanks to our unbeatable prices.
If you have a prepaid SIM and want to transfer your phone number to yallo, this can also be done at any time, but the process takes around 10 days.
