Installing the yallo Home Box is as easy as can be and you won't need a technician.
Step 1: Insert the SIM card
Insert the micro SIM card into the card slot. Ensure that the angled corner of the micro SIM card is aligned with the corner of the slot (see diagram).
Step 2: Connect the power unit
To prevent disruptions caused by radio signals, we recommend that you place your yallo Home Box at least one meter away from your phone and any other electronic devices. Only use the power unit provided (HW-120200E01).
Once you have inserted the micro SIM card into the card slot and plugged the power unit into the wall socket, the yallo Home Box turns on automatically and searches for the mobile network.
Check: Check that the Home Box is connected to the mobile network. For this, check the MODE indicator on the front: Cyan blue/light blue: Connected to 4G, dark blue: Connected to 3G, yellow: Connected to 2G, red: No connection (e.g. the SIM does not work or is inserted incorrectly)
Check: Ensure that the yallo Home Box WLAN is activated.
If the WLAN indicator is solid green, the yallo Home Box WLAN is activated
Step 3: Make a note of the SSID and the WLAN password and connect your device to the Home Box WLAN
The default SSID (yalloHome - xxxx - xxxx) and WLAN password (11-digits) are shown on the label on the base of your yallo Home Box. Use this default WLAN password to connect your terminal device to the yallo Home Box WLAN.
Tip: Prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing your WLAN by changing the default SSID and the default WLAN password. For details, go to "settings" on the configuration page of your yallo Home Box.
Simply watch the video or read this quick start guide and you will be able to start surfing in just a few minutes.
Important: you need to insert the SIM before turning the Box on for the installation to work – it will not function otherwise. If you should need help, ask us your question via the chat.
