How to keep your number when switching to yallo
Do you want to switch to yallo and keep your current mobile number? With the following steps, it's very simple.
1. Sign up for any yallo offer
Choose a yallo offer: Sign up for the desired plan with yallo and give us authorization to cancel your current mobile contract.

Online: Select "keep number" during the ordering process and follow the step-by-step instructions.
2. Prepare for porting
Section A: Porting from an existing plan to yallo
Section B: Porting from a prepaid number to yallo
A. Port an existing number in a subscription to yallo
Initiate porting:
For a successful and smooth number porting to yallo, we need the following:
- The name of the current contract owner
- The earliest/desired date you can leave your current provider without additional costs (for plans, an early porting may incur fees)
Receive the necessary information (contract owner etc.) via QR code or SMS
QR code: Scan the QR code below to send a free SMS with the required information.
Alternative: Send a free SMS with the text INFO to 503 to receive the necessary details.
B. Port an existing prepaid number to yallo
Prepare for porting:
We need the name of the contract holder and the desired date for the number transfer to yallo.
Initiate porting:
QR code: Scan the QR code below to send a free SMS and start the porting process.
Alternative: Send an SMS with the text "YES" to the number 499.
Attention: Your prepaid credit expires after porting.
Good to know: What happens next?
- Confirmation of porting: After completing your order, we will check your details with your current provider. You will receive a confirmation SMS with your porting date once the request has been approved.

Receive the new SIM card:
- Online or by phone: Your new SIM card will be sent to you.
- In the shop: You will receive your new SIM card immediately. Keep it until the porting date.
- Execution of porting: The porting will be carried out on the confirmed date. From this point, your old SIM card will be invalid and should be replaced with the new yallo SIM card.
- Important information: The porting can take place at the earliest 7 working days after the order and will not be carried out on weekends or public holidays.
