If you have installed your yallo Travel eSIM but can't connect to mobile data while travelling, there are a few things you can check before contacting support.

1. Check that your Travel eSIM is enabled

Open your device settings and make sure that your yallo Travel eSIM is switched on.

2. Select the Travel eSIM for mobile data

Make sure your device is using the yallo Travel eSIM for mobile data.

If you have your regular SIM active at the same time, check that your phone has not selected it for mobile data instead.

3. Enable Data Roaming for your Travel eSIM

Data Roaming must be enabled for the yallo Travel eSIM to connect abroad.

Make sure you enable Data Roaming for the Travel eSIM, not your regular SIM.

To avoid unwanted roaming charges through your regular SIM, keep Data Roaming disabled for your regular SIM.

4. Check your data package

Open the yallo Travel eSIM app and check:

▸ You have an active data package.
▸ Your destination is included in the package.
▸ You still have data available.
▸ Your package has not expired.

5. Check your network connection

Your Travel eSIM needs to connect to a supported local mobile network.

If it doesn't connect automatically, try switching Airplane Mode on and off and wait for the device to reconnect.

You can also restart your device.

6. Still no connection?

If you've completed the checks above and your Travel eSIM still isn't working, use the in-app chat in the yallo Travel eSIM app.

The support team can check your installation, activation and connectivity.

If the issue is related to eSIM provisioning or network connectivity and requires further investigation, it will be escalated internally to the appropriate technical team.
