yallo Travel eSIM gives you mobile data when travelling abroad without having to replace your physical SIM card. You purchase a prepaid data package in the yallo Travel eSIM app and use it through a digital eSIM installed on your device.

You don't need a yallo mobile plan to use yallo Travel eSIM. The service is available to yallo and non-yallo customers.

What can I use yallo Travel eSIM for?

yallo Travel eSIM is a data-only service. You can use it for mobile internet while travelling, for example to browse the web, use maps, send messages through apps or use other online services.

The Travel eSIM does not include regular voice calls or SMS.

If your device supports Dual SIM, you can keep your regular SIM active for calls and SMS while using the Travel eSIM for mobile data.

Please note: Calls and SMS on your regular SIM may still be charged according to your mobile plan.

Which data packages are available?

Depending on your destination, you can choose from different types of prepaid data packages:

▸ Regional packages – for use across several countries in a region
▸ Global packages – for use across multiple destinations worldwide

yallo Travel eSIM is available for more than 160 destinations. Check the yallo Travel eSIM app for the available packages, included destinations, data volumes, validity periods and prices.

How does it work?

① Download the yallo Travel eSIM app.
② Create your Travel eSIM account.
③ Choose your destination and data package.
④ Purchase your data package in the app.
⑤ Install the Travel eSIM on your eSIM-compatible device.
⑥ When you arrive, enable the Travel eSIM and Data Roaming.

Your data package activates when the Travel eSIM first connects to a supported mobile network in your destination. This means you can purchase and install your Travel eSIM before you travel.

Is yallo Travel eSIM the same as roaming?

No. yallo Travel eSIM is a separate prepaid data service and is not part of your regular yallo mobile subscription or roaming options.

If you already have roaming included in your mobile plan or use a roaming option, this may still be the right choice for your trip. Travel eSIM provides an additional option, particularly when you need data for other destinations or different data volumes.

Who provides the mobile data service?

yallo Travel eSIM is offered under the yallo brand. The mobile data service is provided by 1GLOBAL.

When you purchase a data package, the contract for the mobile data service is concluded with 1GLOBAL.
