FAQ
Why is my first bill higher than expected?
Your first bill may be higher than usual because it includes the plan fees for the first two months. The first month's fee is pro-rated based on your activation date, and the second month's fee is charged in full.
Starting with your second bill, you'll only pay the basic monthly fee and usage costs for the previous month.
Additionally, if you haven't already paid the activation fee, it will appear on your first bill.
💡 You can watch the video where we provide a detailed explanation of your first bill.

Why have I been charged for Premium Services?
Charges for Premium Services may include purchases such as apps, music, snacks, calls to 0900 numbers, or Premium SMS, which will appear as value-added services on your bill.
💡 You can easily block premium services through your My yallo account or by SMS. For detailed instructions, please visit our article on how to block premium services.
Why have I been charged for International calls and Roaming?
Not all mobile plans include calls within or outside Switzerland. Making calls or using data abroad may result in additional charges, including checking your voicemail while abroad.
💡 You can upgrade to a plan that includes International calls and Roaming. For more details, please visit our guide on upgrading your plan.

Why is my bill higher after switching my subscription?
When you change your plan, your next bill will be higher because it is calculated on a pro-rata basis, starting from the date of the switch to the new plan.
In your bill, we will also refund the previous month’s charge and apply the pro-rata amount for the new plan based on the switch date. Additionally, you will be charged for the current month as usual.
💡 For more details, you can check out our Bill After Switching Plan Section.
Why has the price of my subscription changed on my bill?
There are several reasons your subscription price may have changed:
- Promotion or credit expiration: A promotion or regular credit may have expired, which means you are now paying the standard price again.
- Promotion not applied: In some cases, the promised promotion might not have been applied correctly.
- Subscription change: If your subscription has changed, you will see charges for both the old and new subscription. These charges are prorated based on the number of days each subscription was active.
What are the other fees and charges on my bill?
These charges apply when there are additional costs associated with services provided or actions taken, such as processing payments with a specific method or a service activation.
- Payment at the post office: CHF 4.–
- Payment via bank without reference number: CHF 6.–
- Activation fee: CHF 59.– (Mobile), CHF 99.– (Internet)
- Customer service call: CHF 1.50
